CAE - Exam Preparation Courses

The course is 15 hours of lessons a week. Leading to the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, this course teaches and practises English in the context of the five exam papers: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking. It is for students preparing for the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) examination.

This course is for adult students who are at an upper–intermediate to advanced level, and who now wish to focus on increasing their accuracy and general competence in English and to prepare for an externally validated examination – the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English.

By the end of the CAE – Exam Preparation course, you will be able to:

  • Reading: Understand and analyse various text types as required by the CAE exam. 

  • Writing: Write effectively in different formats suitable for the exam. 

  • Grammar: Confidently tackle various grammar questions. 

  • Speaking: Navigate the oral test sections with confidence. 

  • Listening: Comprehend native speakers at a natural speed and respond accurately in exam conditions.

C1 Advanced (CAE)

  • Timetable: Please check if your course is in AM or PM shift. Am shift is from 08:45 to 12:00 and PM shift is from 12:45 to 16:00

  • Level: Advanced C1

  • Minimum age: 18

  • Max class size: 15 (in busy times up to 17 for a short periods of time)

  • Average class: size 9-12

  • Start date: Any Monday

  • Length of course: Minimum 1 week

  • Options: Combinations possible with additional courses at similar level.
