The Level 3 Diploma in Business Management at Coventry Global Institute (CGI) is a 60-credit university foundation programme, equivalent to one A-level. This course equips students with essential management knowledge and the ability to work effectively in business environments, both as individuals and in teams.

Upon successful completion, students receive an OTHM Level 3 qualification, fully regulated by Ofqual. Graduates can progress to a full undergraduate degree programme at various UK universities or continue with the Level 4/5 Diploma in Business Management, followed by an undergraduate top-up degree.

The Level 3 Diploma in Business Management consists of six modules and six written assignments. Each module includes approximately 40 guided learning hours, supplemented by 30-50 hours of additional recommended exercises, readings, digital resources, and self-test tasks.

1. An Introduction to Marketing
    • Covers key concepts of the marketing mix, planning, and research.
    • Explains the strategic role of marketing in business success.
2. An Introduction to the Business Environment
    • Examines different business types, ownership structures, and stakeholder roles.
    • Explores how the economic, political, legal, and social environment impacts businesses.
3. Business Communication
    • Provides an understanding of internal and external business communication methods.
    • Covers techniques to analyse and evaluate business communication strategies.
4. Business Resources
    • Explores the management of human, physical, technological, and financial resources.
    • Develops an understanding of how businesses manage and utilize resources effectively.
5. Human Resource Management
    • Introduces key HR management concepts, including employee motivation and commitment.
    • Examines how organisations plan and manage human capital.
6. Recruitment and Selection in Business
    • Explains the recruitment and selection process in businesses.
    • Covers job preparation, selection interviews, and employment legislation.

To complete the course, students will submit six written assignments, each approximately 2,000-3,000 words. Comprehensive support is provided through:
